#24 But What If?

It’s not about “What If?”. It’s all about “What’s Next?” Isn’t it?

How many times have you said to yourself, “What if I had done it this way?” or ” What if this had happened?” Several times I hazard to guess? Well do you know what?

You didn’t do it this way and it didn’t happen.

You did it the way you were meant to at the time. It’s as simple as that.

So why do so many people hang onto the “What If” and keep asking themselves this same question over and over again? It’s time to move on. It’s time to let go, to learn whatever you have to learn from what you did, and to take a step forward.

“What If” is probably one of the biggest limitations that people place on themselves. Why? Because you immediately tell yourself that you could have done something better or differently. You hold onto what was, when right in front of you is NOW and what you can do next.

Aren’t you excited about finding out what you can do?

I know I am. We’ve all lived and learned, made mistakes, and celebrated our successes. That’s just it. We’ve done the footwork, whether it was right or wrong at the time, and we’re ready to take the next step.

Consider something important or an issue that you have right now in your personal or professional life. What will you do about it? Will you face it, deal with it and move on? Or will you ask the question “What If?” to get stuck and not move onto “What’s Next?”

When you ask yourself “What’s Next?”, you will tell yourself that you want to move on, that you are ready, and that you are keen to discover where you can go from here.

“What’s Next?” is your gateway to opportunity, creativity and choice. So, what are you waiting for?
